‘Twas a cold winter’s night and oh how the wind blew,
Penny the Penguin was all alone in the zoo.
She was quite hungry with nothing to eat,
No friends to play with, or socks for her feet.
Then a gust of wind came, and Penny fell to the snow,
But to her surprise, the wind called out, “oh no!”
With a warm embrace, he gave her a lift,
“I’ll be your friend”, he said, and presented a gift.
Then he carried the snow from the sky like a treat,
And to Penny’s surprise, it tasted so sweet!
She looked up at her new friend with a smile so bright,
There really was magic in the air that night.
